About

  • This site provides a daily account of the various projects currently under development at the Sid Lee Collective. A brainchild of Sid Lee, our creative incubator develops, catalyses, promotes and finances various projects that push the notion of Commercial CreativityTM to its limits, and, we hope, beyond.

We offer bursaries and support to our artisans to make their ideas happen. We also welcome submissions from external collaborators. Contact us to submit a project or learn more about the collective.

Also visit Conversational Capital, a Sid Lee blog that offers strategic and creative insight on the engineering of word-of-mouth marketing.

Corporate faces of local superheroes

Sid Lee Collective Montreal is presenting a new exhibition this week. Mélanie Baillairgé's process involves both the individual and the collective identity, and explores the relationship between the two. She prensents portraits of human beings who are shaping the identity of corporate citizens every day. These portraits are of people who devote themselves to the things that they create. Here is some pics...

Drown your past regrets in coffee not cigarettes

What do you do when you can’t find a damn good cup of coffee abroad?

For Duane Sorenson from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, the solution is simple. Pack up 11 of your employees, move them overseas, and show ‘em how it’s done.

Sid Lee Amsterdam is proud to welcome the acclaimed Portland based café to the family, opening up a Stumptown right connected to the Sid Lee Collective Gallery, serving the public with the highest of standards.
Going straight to the source to find the best beans from around the world with flavor notes ranging from sweet citrus to brown sugar and combining them with the appropriate brewing method based on the bean and the individual, Stumptown is here to raise the bar and already has Amsterdam buzzing with their good vibes and great coffee.
